Why a checklist helps
Body parts look similar across models, but small differences decide whether a part fits. A few checks before you pay save a return trip.
Match the exact model
Give the brand and the model name as written on the car. Parts for two models from the same brand are often different, even when they look alike.
Check the side
Lamps, mirrors, fenders and doors come left and right. Left and right are as seen from the driver's seat.
Sensors, cameras and holes
If your bumper has parking sensors, a camera or other fittings, tell the seller. Ask whether the part you are buying has the same openings.
Paint and finish
Ask whether the part is bare, primed or painted, and who matches the colour. Never assume.
What is included
Ask whether brackets, clips, bulbs or fixings come with the part, and whether the part is new. Ask any seller, including us, about returns and warranty, and get the answer in writing. Ask us the same when you enquire.
Send photos
Photos of the old part and the damaged area let the seller compare before you commit.
